The Twentleth Annual Commencement of the Medical Department took place Wednesday forenoon. Atter prayer, by the Rev. Dr. Cockek, acting President Fiueze, by authority of the Board of Regents, conferrad the degreo of Doctor of Medicine upon the members of the graduating clnse, eighty two in number, presenting eachwith a diploma. The addreas of the occasion was then delivered by Aimox A.. Tiiomi'son, II. D., of Lausiug, a gradúate of the department, in the class of 18öö. It is spoken of as a fine effort. ÏIIE UW. COMMEXCEMEST. The Eleventh Aunual Commencement of Uie Law Department, was held Wed nes - day ofteruoon. Prayer was oifered by Rev. H. L. HuuaïïLL, the di'gree of Bachelor of Law conlerred upon llOgraduates, and a diploma presen ted to each, After whicli Ilon. Wil. 1'. T7ells, of Detroit, gave the address to the c!ass. llis subject was "The Public Relations and Dutlcs of the Legal Profession," aud the address was abie, instruclive, and woll dellvered. Il' the Profession would bo governed by the lasdmarka lald down it and the public would be largely the gaiuers. - And so euds anothcr süccessful year in the two departments.
