- Mr. Webster and Mr. Choate are engaged in an important law suit, aboufto be tried in Boston, which involvesthe question whether a transfer or properfy made by a Millerite during his hallucihation, can be deemed legnl. The case is as follows, and is very mteresting,because there are many similarly conditioned. - A gentleman ín oneof the towns in jfass achusetfs, a manufacturer, engaged i a large and profrfnbíc business, became i'mpressed with theconviction that theworld was about fo come to an end, accordïng to the predictions of Miller. For a time he conducted his business as before, but soon beg.in to öee the folly wickedness of bestowing his time and aftention upon wordly allairs, when the end of all thing was so near at hand. He wishect to divest himselfof his property, retaining only enough for hrs support filT the coming of the greai day. The gentleman eomnienced, preaching uniil the doctrine' of Miller exploded, and his zeaf then abnted and ho found out hiö delusion. He tried in vain to get into business. Not being able lo obtain money in this way, he has com meneed a suit against his ?on for the recovery of the wliole property.
