A meeting was held en Sunday laat ut the Madisoo Avenue Baptist Church iu its behalf, at which Ilev. Dr. Aldrich, Secretary of the New York alliauce, said it would" be regarded us Protestant, Ecuiilenical Council, and as it would be atteudcd from all purts of the civiüzod world would te regarded with uuprecedeuted interest.
