Th British Government then yolunleered t give them Becond-class passage to th country, but they vcry naturally prefer red to accept the first class offer of th United States. A digpatch froin th Ameiican Legation in London was re ceived at the State Deparlment yester day, stating that John McClure, Ucder wood O'Gonnell ud ü'Doiioviin Iloss had sailed in tho teamship Cuba yester day, fur Now York. Col. Wra. G. Ilal pin and some others refuped their con ditional purdon. Thos. F. Burke ha not yet been dischargod. McCluro hai been senteccod to denth, but tha sen tence was commuted to penal servitud for life ; ü'Conncll to ten years, pona servitude ; Rogga to penal servitude fo ufo. Ilulpin to fiftoen yeurs, ponal sor vitude, while Burke was genteneed t deatb, and was made ready for execu tion, when his Bcntence was also com rauted to impriaonmont for life.
