And flashes on roof and window pane, And biaset upon the hearth. For ever and ever the weary thoughts Are tracing the selfsame truck. For ever and ever, to and fro, On the old unchangine road they go, hrough dretuiiintf and waking, through joy and woo ( 'alling the dead hours bock. For ever and ever the tired heart Pondera o'er eil done, For ever and ever through cloud and gleam, Tracing the course of the strong life streom, And dreary and dull ua the broken dream, For ever the rain raina on.
