Last summcr duiing the hot months, 11 men, who had been arrested just as the term of court closed, were detalucd íere, with no lacillties for tliorouglily ng thcir persons. The prlvy must be offenslvc In warm weather. Tliis wealthy couiity should not rcfuse a few huudred dollars to 'mako thcir jail worthy ofcivlüzatlon. Let tliis be renumbercd when the Board of Supervisors meet.
