At the conolusiön of the sentence Judge Flippin was in tears, as were also nearly all the Large crowd gathcred there. It was a niost lil'ecling silene, and will over be remembered by those who witnesscd it. It was a surprise to all who knew tlio relation that liad oxisted in early ehildhood between Judge Flippin and I'oston, and it must, indeed, have been a sad thing for Flippin to consign to death the playmatc of his early boyhood days.
