Con'Cokd, N. IL, Juno "th. Th o Govornor and Coimcil appoared in the Hall of Ilvpresontativcs this morning and administeréd the oath to members elect. Win. H. Gore, Democrat and Uibor-roform candidato, was elccted Speaker by onc majority over Adams, Republican. Mr. Gore is an old Abolitiouist, and was noininatod by the Deniocrats to secure the labor-refonn vote for Qovernor. Mr. Bingham, of Littleton, offored a ■■ olution deularing Jos. R. Jaokson, of Liltleton, Clerk, and J. II. Colbath, of Barnsted, Assistant, and on it called tho yi us and nays. Mr. Fowler, of Concord, offered an amendraent that the House procecd by ballot to the elcction of a Clerk. Carried by veas 161, nays 190. The Speaker claimed the privilege of voting, and so tiod tho vote, and the amendinent was lost. An exoiting debate followed, during whioh various amendments and motions to uljourn were offered. Uuestions of order were raised and appcals from the decisión of the chair made, but tbc House finally adjouxned without aetion on the reeolution. Xhe Senate did nothing more than elect Senator Campbell tcinporary chairman and appoint a committee to cxaminé tho voto for Senators. Both partios will hold caucuses to-morrow morning. ■ - - A VEXKD question is at last settlud.
