Tbere is a Scuppernong grapp-v'ne grov ing on an island in the Albemarie Sound, on the castein ooast of North Carolina which has run across the island in diffprent directions ; and the vines lead ■ ing frían the original parent stock have bed across nine acres of land, from tree to tree.
