These will be cxceedingly useful, as a reserve, whfii grass is scarce, and the ordinary astures are SCOrched by the sun. Toung stock of every kind requires particular attention at the time when they are trans 'erred from mil k to gmss. Brood mares should have light labor, and abundance if nutritious provendor. It is a bad pracicc to allow tho colt to travel with the lam, when the latter is working on tho road, or even in tho field.
