In addition to this, every ehange in proprietOTBhiPi und every altornation oi bouitdary between different parcolR of land, and every conversión of a ]ioce of land, has to be entered in a sup pfementary register, with reftrenes to the original añd to the charí. This register oontains not only tho naaies, addresses, etc., of the propristors of Oach parcel of land, but tho exact measurement - no error larger tlian two nietres in a thousand being permitted - of each of iiitside, with its modo of cultivation or upplioation. It is estiuiated that thecost oí a aerv chart and register would be about nine millions sterling ; the original Ctulnstre took nearly J'ears to complete, and tho sniullost timo that woojd sufficn for the work, with tho number of rorreron at present aviiilable, is said to bo bctweeii tweuty and thirty yenr.
