Pursuant to the statuto in such case made and provided, tlic Board of Supervisors niet in annual gession at the Court House in tho city of Ann Arbor, on Morday, the 14th day of Octobor, at 11 o'clock A. M. Tho Board was cullod to 01:i by Hon. Loe Yost, ohairman elected it tbc npeciul sossion in April. Tho roll wus c.tllwl by the clerk. Present all the Supervisors. Mr. Wynknp moved that the chairman nrinounco tho standing committees this aftornoon. Agroc-d to. Ou motion of Mr. Thatcher the Board adjourned until 2 o'cloek P. M. AFTEKXOOX ESTÍOS. Board met pursuant to adjournment. Oalled to order by tho chairinan. Roll eulled. Quorum present. The chairman a:inounced tho following standing committeeè: On Equaliiation - Supervisors O'cott, LeBaron, Krapf, Forbea and Pierco. On Criminal Claimt- Supervisors Cook, TUatcher and Yeckley. On motion of Mr ShurtlefT Lorenzo Davis was elected such reporter. Mr. Yeokley moved that the salary o tho reporter bo flxed at $2.00 per day Adopted. Mr. Tbateher moved that the chairman appoint two additional members on the Committeo on Equalization. Mr. Cuok offertd tho following aniend ment: "Providing they bc selected fron tho north tier of townships." The amendment was accepted, and the motion as amended was adopted by yea 17 ; nays, 7. The chair appointcd Supervisor Wyn kup, of Sulem, and Supervisor Renwick of Northiield, as members of such com mittee. Mr. Wynkup offered tho following : Jiesolred, That the printed rules adopt cd by the last Board be adopted as the rules for the governmont of this Board The rtsolution was adoptedL Mr. Krapf moved that a committee c five bo appointed by the chairman tocon fer with tho newspaper publishers of the county as ta their lowest tenaa for pub lislting iu full tlvo proceodings of tliibBoiird. Agreed to, and the elviirman ap pointed Supervisors Krapf, Forbos, Burch Tuomy and Thalcher as such comreittee Mr. Wynkup moved that the Commit tee on líqualization be instructed to equalize on the basis of the aggregato o the assessod valuation. Mr. Thatcher moved, as an amend ment, to equalize on the basis of ton niillions of dollars. Tho amendment was acoepted, and tho motion as amended was then adopted. On motion of Mr. Yeckley tho Boarc adjourned until to-morrow morning al half-past nino o'cloek.
