MONTQOMEHY, ALA., JNOV. 1. Tho Alábanla Legislatura convenod by law to-day at o'clock. LieutenantQovetnor Horen, who holds over by tho Constilution until liis suecessor is qualificd, called the Senato to order in the Senate Chambor. Eightoen Senators wero swore in and tho senate adjourned. in tho hall of the House Hubbard, Spcarker of the last House, and who holds over by the Coustitution till his sucoessor is elocted and qualifiod, called the membors to order, and on the cali of tho roll of counties forty-five ïtopresentatives presentod themselves and were sworn in, Thcro not being a quoraru tho House adjourned till 12 m. to-morrow. Every momber in each house at tho Capitol appaoring to-day was a Conser vativc. Tho Kepublicans mot at the United States Court room and orgnnized with a member of each branoh in tho chair. This niakos two Legislaturos in Alabama. Five Conservativos were absent, but will arrivo to-night. Tiic thTtc at Marcngo who were arrested yesterday hold certificates of elcction, but they have boon carried to Mobile. This would raake fifty-three Conservativo mombers in the Conservativo branch. Fifty-seven is a quorum. The Eepublicans aro said to have sworn in fifty-twoin their branoh, claiming and seatingthree from Harengo and thrco t'rum liurbour County, but who do not hold certificates of election from the Secretary of Stato. Tho Conservativos from Barbour County who hold certinrates werü arrested this afternoon, but they promptly gave bonds to appear at ie next term of the United States Court nd were discharged. There is considerble excitemunt but no distlrbanco yet. 'o-uiorrow will probably mako ncw deolopments.
