Chicago, March 25. - The snow storm which began here last evening continued during tlio night andto-day, eillminating to-uight in one of the worst storm of tlie winter.. Tlir, wind blows a galo from tho northeast. At leaxt eight iaches of snow have aiready fallen, and there is as yet no abatemeut of the tempest. .Street rtlilway travel is entirely suspended on somu of tho routes, and on others four horseg to :i car are found necessary. The 9 r. M. traiii_on tho Michigan Central lload did not go out, partlyon account of tho snow, and partly beoause of a wrecke train near St. Joscph, Mich. The Michigan Southern Railroad reporta tríiins running very slowly, but none havo boen abandoned. A similar condition of aifairs is reported on tho Illiuois Central.
