Nor, where amal gamation is eo cxtensive, is the prcjudice or power of ca6te so great as in the United States. Black men do notfind themse'ves crowded out of the packet, or thr omn'bus or even the hall room, the Representativas Haü, the Scnate Chamber, or the ranks of ecclesíasticp, becauso they are black.
