An adjourned session 01 tno uounuii Wua uom on Monday évenmg, íúne 9th. Absent, the Mayor and Aid. Grossmann, Rogers, and Siniüi. Aid. Porter was called to the chair. "The aiibject of the opening of Wells street coming upj tho Recorder stated that tho notice on parttes interestod had been duly servod, whereupon the following rosolation was adopted, by yeas, 6; nays, 4: Jtesolred, That the Common Couhcü proceed to lay out and open a street known and described m " tin extensión of Wells street in J. D. Baldwin's third addition to the city of Ann Arbor, atid utttil it reaches White street in Hill's addition to said city, or Wliite street extended south through the lands of Solon Gook." Ün mötion the ComVnOn Council agreed topay to C. Eberbach $200 for a release of right of way for said street, cenditioned on the payraent of $50 by Mr. Saldwin. Onmoliontho Conitaon Counqil adjourned, after which by common consent said motipu to adjoura was reconsidered ond ths Council proceeded to re-organie the Board of Health by the following appointments ; First ward, Dr. W. B. Sinith ; Sec&ud, Dr. Jas. &app ; Third, A. A. Gregory ; Fourth, A. De Forest ; Fif th, Dr. Tl. M. ïyler; Sixth, É. É. Gidley. The Recorder was instruetod to notify the persons appointed. E. 1). Kinne, Esq., at the request of R. Rchuy?r, Bubmitted amendment to Or.Uutócé No. 61, regulating the conduct of runners or hack drivers at the depot. Beferred to City AttorneyThe bond of the City Treasiiret wasapproved" The bill of Justice McMahon was ref erred to City Attorney with iustructioñs to examine, Ismize, and report legal fees, and the lieoorder was directed to notify other Justices to makn heir bilis forthvrith and present thom to the City Attorney.
