From the Detroit Free Press. Kixg's Cattle Yaeds, } Detkoít, Monday evening, July 7. CATTLE. The market was well snppiied to-(lay, and the average weights were inore satisíactory than for several weeks, although thero were very few prime clioice cattle iu tlie yards, but choice, as the term is ordinarily used. Buyers limited ' their transactious, and after 10 a. m. sales dragged slowly. Quite a number of small lots from thin to common were held over. The range of prices, though apparently high, is only so because low priced cattle were sokl in Iota without woighing. In reality thu market was lower than last week. The following quotations covored to-day's transactions : Choice beeves, young, large, well iattcned, weighing {rum 1,200 ., t MOOlbs.
