The Clerk's and Justicc's office was robbed on the night of the 19th inst., of all the city records, papers, dockets, etc, therein. AH of the Clerk's private papers and books were also taken. Jïo clue is yet found to the crimináis. - Oa the succeeding evening an attempt was made to fire the Methodist Church. The infant class room was so injured that ït can not bo used until repaired. - Some rascáis broke in the windows of a Mr. Wells, one of those who told the truth on the witness stand in a liquor suit, Friday night last. Among Ypsüanti licuor dealers truth is held at a great discount. - 8G00 reward has been offered by the Commou Couucil for the detection of the person who set fire to the Methodist Church ; $301) for the detection of the person who stole the city records ; and $100 for the return of the recordé. From C. F. Kimbali-, Secretary of the Michigan State Agricultural Society, we have a "complimentary" card of admission to the " Grand Consolidated Fair," to be held at Grand Itapids, the 15th, lOth, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th da vs of September next; but the promised " Premium List " has not come to hand. We can't enter the contest for that "local" Bro. Kimball unless put in possession of the rules, conditions, terms, instructions, or whatever you plèase to cali them.
