The receipta from local sources were fair, and the following rates were reported: Thirty hogs, averaging about 190 lbs., at $8 per head ; eleven, averaging 183 lbs., at Y4.75 per hundred; eight, averaging 178 lbs., at $4.60 ; seven pigs, ftveruging 147 lbs., at -?4.7Ï. SHEEP. TheT9 was orily a few small lots ofFered, but the market was off about 696 almnnled lbs. There was a liberal supply of cattle at these yards to-day, the quality, like last week, being scarcely equal to the best markets of thé season, and conaequently the range of prices was somewhat below tonner quotations ; hut thcre was a lack of poor cattle for stockers, the poorest being claimed as butchers' cattle and selling at a better figuro thau feeders liko to pay for stockers.
