The Man&fleld Liberal, referring to the statement that the suspension of work apon tliis Road is only temporary, and will soon be resnmed, says: "Our information is the reverse of tbia, and it is' i'roiu entirely reliable .soui;ces. If tho suit should be deoided against tho Bailroad Company, Iho work will be permanently abandoned, and thu Pennsylvania Company will withdraw from it entirely and permanently. Unless a compromise is effected tho chancea ire thut yeara will elapse before the suit is deoided. It is in the United State Court, and can be protraoted tor an indeflnate period of time. Our citizoiis therefore can jiidge for theiriselves as to the probabüities o! the completion of tht1 Ooldwater Road." A correspondent of the Cleveland 11, r[ald, wriling ou the saine subject, says: " The Pennsylvania company is pullnig up the iron justlaid west of Fostoria. In our last letter wo stsited Swan, Eoso & Co , the original contractora, had enjoined tho Pennsylvania Company from laying any more iron until they got a Bettleruent out of the Mansfield & Coldwater Coinpany, who were to build the road, bed, bridge, and tie it, and the Pennsylvania Company was to iron and opérate the Road. The Road bed was pretty nearly fmished to Napoleon, and the Pennsylvania Company had menced putting down the iron and had gut into this couiity about ten miles when they were enjoined. Swan, Roee & Co. claim $96,000 due tbem, and havo sued in the United States District Conrt. If they get judgment they will hold the iron, henee the reuaoval of it before they get judgment. Aiiy one haviug business j in the higher Courts can forni somo idea when the matter will be settleih"
