Another terrible accident occurred on the Detroit & Milwaukee Bailroad nbout two miles west of this place at half past six o'clock last evening. The mail and expresa west, with nine passenger coaches heavily loaded, and two emigrant cara, was thrown from the track by a cow while running at a rapid rato of speed, and sorao of the coaches were hadly broken. THE KILLED. ïhe names of the killed are Wra. Beaman, of Williamston, and Calvin Winchuni, of Lunsing. SERIOtTSLY IJÍJURED. The following are the name of the injured : Charles Steel, Williamston, thigh broken and badly injured internally ; supposed to be in a dying condition. James Stevenson, Williamston, thumb and fingeramputatedandbadiy bruised. Frank Cosgrove, Byron Township, Shiawassee County, arm brokon. These preceding were all aoquainted and stood tttlking ou the platfojm of one of the cars when the accident ocourred. Jenks, a traveling agent froni Khode, Island was seriously injured about thespino. Ira L. Burhans, of Koyal Ooak, the mail agent, was badly bruised and injured internally. Daniel Burlingauie, of Ann Arbor, the ex-"1 press agent, wan badly injured intornally by the expresa safe falling on him. Mark Buil, of Nunica, haud hurt. Mrs. M. Claflin, of iSaranau, badly bruised, shoulder hurt. Nellie Waldron, State of New York, scalp wound and hurt in the side and back. Col. Matthews, postmaster at Bryan, badly bruised. Mis. Earl, Ionia, shoulder dislocatod. Silas Adgate, Berlin, badly bruised. Besides these there are ome others whose names and injuries cannot yet be ascei tained. THE KILLED AXD MANGLED. Those killed were fearfully disfigured, their hcads and bodies being crushed in shocking niimiiiT. MIRACULOUS ESCAPES. It is almost a iniracle that more rere not killed, as the coaches were all f uil on the way to the fair at Grand Rápida.
