On the 7th inst., at the house of his father J. C. Wainright, Clinton, Lenawee Co. Mich., after a lingering Hlness wïiich be bore with Christian resignation, W. G. Wainright, in the 44th year of his age.

Mr. "Wainright had been of late a resident South, known for good business habita and sterling and worth. Of a serious turn of thought, he was a communïeant of Grace Church (Episcopal), St. Louis, Missouri, and a valuable helper to the pastor in the f-iunday school, as a beloved teacher, and especially useful in the exposition of the Bcriptures, írom a close study of God's word. This notice of his early departure from life, when it meets the eye, will awnken in the heart of many a forraer pupil, to whom he hns been a iriend and guide iu the paths of rectitude and peace, a sigh of regret that he will be seen on earth no inore. " But they that be wise shall shine as the brightness ot the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the star for ever and ever." M.H C. Ann Arbor, Oct.14, 1873.
