The following is the description of a woraan's club in Ohio, which meets regulrtily to discuss practical questions applict.lle to farm lite. Why should not suob a club be forined in any neighborhood ? It would prove of great interest to those cumposing it. The association meets at thehousesof the members. The questions selected at each meeting as the regular topics for discussion at the succeeding one, are as i'ollows : 1. The making and baking of the different varieties of bread. 2. Cake in all its varieties. 3. Housecleaning- how to clean house with the least confusión, the least destruction to property, and the greatest cxpedition. 4 Can practical housekeeping be reduced to a perfect system ? 5. How should cows be fed and wateredV aud how should mi'k bo taken care of to make the beftt quality of butter? 6. What íb the best method of canuing fruit 't 7. The makiug of pastry, and baking of pVs. 8 How to make and keep pickles, both 8onr and sweet. Besides the regnlar topics, miscellaneous subjeots have been introduced wben there was sufficient time. A variety of recipes have been handed the standing committee, accepted by the oeiety, and pluced upou record.
