Tu the People of the State of Michigan, Oreet111 : In obsorvance of a time-honorod custom, and in oonformity with the Proclamation of the President, I hereby appoint THURSDAY. the 27th Day ov November, 1H"3, as a day of J'iihlic Thanksgiving.
