VinpRnr Bitters are not a vfle Fancy Drink, made of Poor Rum, Whiskey, Proof Spirits and Refuse Liquors, doctored, spiced, and sweetened to please the taste, called ''Tonics," ' Appetizers," "Restorers," &c, that lead the tippler on to drunketiness and ruin, but are a true Medicine, made from the native roots and herbs of California, free from all Alcohol ie Stimulants. They are the Great Blood Purifier and a Life-giving Principie, a Perfect Renoyator and Invigorator of the System, carrying oif all poisonous matter and restoring the blood to a healthy condition.enriching it, refreshing and myigorating both mind and body. They are easy of adtninistration, prompt in their action, eer tai n in their results, safe and reÜable in all forms of disease. No Person can take these Bitters according to direciions, and remain long unwell, provided their bones are not destroyed by mineral poison orother means, and the vital organs wasted beyond the point of repai r. Dyspepslo or Indicrrst Ion. Headache, Pain in the Shouiders, Coughs, Tightness of the Chftst, Dizziness, Sour Ëructations of the Stomach, Bad Taste in the Mouth, BÜious Attacks, Palpitatiou of the Heart, Inflammatton of the Lungs, Pain in the regions of the Kidueys, and a lumdred otlier painfu! symptoma, are the oflsprings of Dyspepsia. In these complaints it haa no equal, and one bottle will prove a better guarantee of its merits than a lengthy advertisement. Por Pemule Complaints tn yoting or old, married or single, at the dawn of womanhood, or the turn of life, ihese Tonic Bitters display so decided an inñuence that a marked iinprovetnent is soon perceptible. For Inilammatory and Clironio K.numntlstn and Gout, Dyspepsia or Indigestión, Bilious, Remittent and Intenniitent Fevers, Diseases of the Biood, Liver, Kidneys and Bladder, these Bitters have been most successfitl. Sucti Distases aro caused by Vitiated Blood, wh'Cil is generally produced by derangement of ihe Digestive Organs. They are n Gentle PurpnlUe ns well os a Tonic, possessinp also the pecuüir merit of actiug as a powerful agent ni relieving Congestión or Infiainmation of the Liver and Visceral Organs, and in Bilious Diseases. Por Skin DIseasesf Emplions, Tetter, SaltRheum, lïlotches, Spots, Pimples, Pustnles, Boils, CarImncles, RinR-worms, Scald-Head, Sore liyes, Erysipelas, Itch, Scurfs, Discolorationsof the Skin, Hu mors and Diseases of the Skin, of whatever name or nature, are literally dus up and carried out of the system in a sliort time by the nse of these Bitters. One bottie in such cases wi 11 couvince the most incredulous of their curative effects. Cleanse tlte Vitiated Blood whenever you find its iinpurities barsting through the skin in Pimples, Eruptions, or Sores; cleanse it when you find it obstructed and sluggish in the veins ; cleanse it when it is foul ; your feelings will teil you when. Keep the blood pure, and the health of the system will follow. Grateful tlioiisands proclaim Vjnkgaiï Bitters the most wonderful Invigorant that ever suslamed the sinkin system. Pin, Tape, and otlier Wornis, lurk ing in the system of so many thousands, are effect ually destroyed and removed. Says a distinguished physioU ogist: Thereisscarcely an individual upoii the face of the earth whose body isexempt from the presence of worms. It is not upon the healthy elementa of the body that worms exist, but upon the dïseased humors and slimy deposits that breed these living monsters of disease. No system of Medicine, no vermifuges, no anthelminitics, will free the system from worms like these Bitters. Rlechniiical DIscascs. Persons engaged in Paints and Minerals, such as Plumbers, Type-setters, Gold-beaters, and Miners, as they ad vanee m life, will be subject to para ly sis of the Bowels. To guard against this take a dose of Walkers Vinhgar Bitters once or twice a week. as a Preventive. Bilious, Remittent, and Intermit tent Pcvers, which are so prevalent in the valleys of our great rivers thronghout the United States, especially tliose of the Mississippi, Oliio, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Cumberland, Arkansas, Red, Colorado, Brazos, Rio Grande, Pearl, Alabama, Mobile, Savanuah, Roanoke, James, and inany others, with their vast tributaries, throughout our entire country during the Summer and Autumn, and remarkably so during seasons of unusual heat and dryness, are invariably accompanied by extensive derangernents of tlie stomach and liver, and otlier abdominal viscera. There are always more or less obstructions of the liver, a weakness and irritable state of the stomach, and great torpor of the bowels, being clogged up with vitiated accumulations. In their treatment, a purgative, exerting a powerful influeuce upon these various organs, is essentially necessary. Tliere is no cathartic for the purpose equal to Dr. J. Walkek's Vinegar Bitters, as they will speedily remove the dark-colJred viscid matter with which the bowels are loaded, at the same time stimulating the secretions of the liver. and generally restoring the healthy functions of the digestive organs. Scrofiila, or King's Evil, White Swelnngs, Ulcers, Erysipelas, Swelled Neck, Goiter, Scrofulous Inflammations, Indolent Inflammations, Mercurial Affections, Old Sores, Eruptions of the Skin, Sore Eyes, etc, etc. In these, as in all other constuutional Diseases, Walker's Vinegar Bitters have shown their great curative powers iu the most obstinate aud intractabte cases. Dr. Walker's California Tinegar Bitters act on all these cases in a similar manner. Bypurifying the Blood they remove the cause, and byresotving away the effects of the inflammation (the tubercular deposits) the affected parts receive health, and a permanent curt is effected. Tlie properties of Dr. Wai.ker's Vinegar Bitters are Aperient, Diaphoretic and Carminative, Nutritious, Laxative, Diuretic, Sedatiye, Counter-Irritant, Sudorific, Alterative, and Anti-Bilious. The Aperient and mild Laxative properties of Dr. Walker's Vinegar Bitters are the best safeguard in all cases of eruptions and malignant fevers, their balsamic, healing, and soothing properties protect the humors of the fauces. Their Sedative properties allay pain in the nervous system, stomach, and bowels, either from inflammation, wind, colic, cramps, etc, Their Irritant influence extends throughout the system. Their Diuretic properties act on the Kidneys, correcting and regulating the fiow of urine. Their Anti-Bilious properties stimulatc the liver, in the secretion of bile, and its discharges through the biliaryducts, and ate superior to ali remedial agents, for the cure of Uiliouríever, Fever and Ague, etc. FortXfy tlie body aatnst dtsease by purifyinj all its fluids with Vinegar Bitters. No epidemie can take hold of a system thus forearmed. Tlie liver, the stomach, the bowels, the kidneys, and the i nerves are reudered disease-proof by this great i orant. i Directlons.- Take of the Bitters on going to bed ' at night from a half to on and one-haif wine-glasfull. i Eat good nourishing food. such as beef steak, mutton chop, venison, roast beef, and vegetables, and takt out-door exercise.
