The foilowing returns rolativo to the growing wheut erop are compiled trom the roturns to the National Crop Reporter of tho 24th inst. : Texas- the wheat crop of ïïorthern Texas is reported better than usual. Georgia - The average of wheat sown is larger than last yer. Cansas - Loavenworth oounty reporta the wheat as having been frozen out. Illinois - In Effingham county wheat never looked better. In Parker county it looks well ; acreage 25 per cent. larger than last season. In Massacoounty moro wheat is sown than last year, and it liever looked better. In Platt, Pike, Wabash and Lawrence the erop is roported in good conditiou, with an average amount sown. gMichigan - Growing wheat looks well. Pennsylvania - The growing wheat erop looks well. Wisconsin - Ifo returns from growing wheat erop. Iowa - Henry county - Acreago of wheat sown about 33 per cent. less than last year. In Loo oounty tho prospec for winter only fair, on account of dr weather. Indiana - Wheat looks well ; acroag sown about tho saino as last year. Car roll, Johnson, Sullivan and La Porte counties, the growing erop looks well. Keutucky - In Mercercounty tho acreage of winter wheat is largo, and all the growing crops look better than for many years. Ohio - In Carroll, Coshocton.Paulding, Ross and Miami counties the growing erop is repojted in good condition with a largo increase in acreage.
