The Washington correspondent of the Chicago Tribune says : Tho financial opinions of Congrossmen aro gradually undergoing a change. Of the inflationists, but a few of tho extreme Western and Southern members still cling to the first notion, thut the government ought to issue a largo addition to tho greonbacks now in circulatiou. Tho inajority of them are coming round to the opiniĆ³n tbat Dawea' scheme, authorizing freo banking, will cure tho evils undur which tho country suffers, and a few who came hero rampant inflationists are actually falling in with Boutwell in the belief that to do nothing is the wisest courso under the present state of aftairs.
