The undersigned Committee to make arran;,;ements for the Pic-Nïc of the old settlers, at t he Methodist church, on Tueaday the 2-lth inst., have selected the following ladies of Ann Arbor, as a committee of reception, and to prepare the tables for dinner &c. Mrs. E. A. Beal, Mrs. Darius Wood, Mrs. C. A. Chapin, Mrs. C. B. Cook, Mrs. North, Mrs. L. C. Eisdon, Mrs. H. Howe, Mrs. J. Q. A. Sessions, Mrs. C. B. Grant, Mrs. J. G. Leiand, Mrs. D. At the last meeting ot the Washtenaw Couaty Pionoer Society, it was resolved to celébrate the fiftieth anniversary of the first settlement of Ann Arbor and its location as the county soat, on the 24th inst., by a general meeting and picnic by the old setttlers of the county. The meeting will be held in the basement rooms of the Methodist Church, at Ann Arbor, at 10 o'clock A. M., and dinner will be f urnished at the same place at one o'clock, p. m. A general invitation is extended by the Pioneer Society, to all who have resided in this county twenty years or more.
