Everts tt Stewart. lts xnapa are models in drawing, lithographing and coloring, and include a map oí tho United States, a State map accardmg to the most recent surveys, a County map, and maps of eacïi townsliip, city,, and villago. The township maps give the location of all the roads, school houses, churches, milis, and dwellings, and the name of every farm owner. The city and villago maps are on a large scale - Ann Arbor and Ypsilauti each occupying four pages. Besides the maps thcrR are numerous sketches of dwellings, boma, grounds, etc., in the several cities, villages, and towns, showing prosperous and wcll-to-do farmers and businass men. Therc is ulao the usual dcscriptive imd historica! matter, business and official directorios, cards, etc, making it a valuable volume aside from its maps. Messrs. Everts & Stewart vcill uext week commence delivery of the Atlas to subscribers and we havo the utmost confideuce that the work will givo complete satisfaction, and that the only regret will bo on the part of the large number who, having ïailed to subscribe, will be unable to get copies. At the regular meeting of tlio Aim Arbor Lodge of Good Templara, held Tuesdayevening, Marcli 3d, the following Preamble and Resolutions were offered and adopted by the Lodge : AVhereas : Recognizmg our obligations to Almighty God, the Creator and Preserver of all, und iully realizing that whatever of good we endeavor to accomplish depends upon Himforsuccess, and that we as Good Templars, waging war, aa we believe, against the Giant Evil of the age, ueed His assistance ; therefore, Resolved, That wo respectíuíly ask the Christian community, as represented by the Daily Union Meetings now boing held in this city, to make our causo a subject of special praycr; and bc it further Resolved, That we respectfully request Dr. Angelí to doüver an address on the subject of Temperance, in the University Hall, on Suuday, March IS, at 3 1-2 p. M ; and be it further Resolved, That a copy of these Resolutions be furnished to the editora of the city papers for publication. S. DRAPEE, W. C. T. C. Gali'ix, W. S.
