The Grangers
The Executive Committeo of the National Grange Patrons of Husbandry aio maturing a plan for forniation of a statistioal bureau in connection with the National Grange for the collection and disSfmination of information in regard to the condition of the crops throughout the country. The new bureau will be located at Gashington, D. C, in charge of D. W. Aikin, secretary of the State Grango of South Carolina. SubordÃnate granges will report direct to the State Grange all information relating to crops, and the different State granges will report by tulegraph to the statistical bureau at Washington. The bureau will compile and summarizo these reports in a monthly report of crop9 in all sections of the country and will simultaneously transmit the report by telegraph monthly to all State granges, who, in turn will furnish it to all subordinato granges within their juriadiction. This information will not bo furnished the press for publication, it being intended excluaivoly for tho benefit of members of the order.
