The Austrian North Pole Expedition
The late of the Tegetthoff, Capt. Weyprecht, begins to exhibit great anxiety at headquarters, and givos rise to numerous conjectures as to the whereabouts of the cxpodition. On leaving Capt. Weypreoht and bis crew signed ahigh-minded resolution praying that in case of their disappeararce no expedition should be sent to their resuue, their wish being to spare the country further and perhaps usele&s sacritice of Ufe and money. The coming summer will no doubt decide upon or make knowu the fate of the TegelthorT; but sbould no intelllgence whatever be forthcouiing, Austria will doubtless not listen to tbe generous testamentary recomniendation of the captain and crew of the Tcetthoff, but follow the example of America and Jiorway, who used every available exertion to rescue their expeditions which were shipwreoked after the Tegettboff
