Crop Prospects

Advices from different parts of the 5tates of Illinois, Iowa, Wisoonsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Indiana assure us hat the prospecta for a gratifying yield of fruits and grains tbis season are excellent. In all these States the prospecta of small grain average well as compared with the same time last year. In southern Illinois the fruit erop bids fair to be arge, with the exeeption, perhaps, of trawberries. The promise for fruit is ;ood, except in northern Indiana and louthern Michigan, where the peach erop will probably be light. With these few exoeptions the farmers and horticulturists of the reeions mentioned are sanguine
