Special Dispatch to the Detroit Free 1Bay City, July 22. The dry weather continĂșes. The fires in the country north are spreadiug and unless rain comes soon the damage to timber and other property will be immense. At Alcona the forest fires ave destroyed six hundred thousand fee, & akidded logs belonging to Haynes & Beard, alao one house, lumber camp, and other camp property. Two hundred men have been fighting the fire all d:iy, but are unable to atay its progress. Fires along the Jackson, Lansing Saginaw Eailroad continue, but no damage is reported except at Standish, where two houses were burned.
