p f p I I Y Dunng the last two weeks we have mailed a large numher of billa to subacribers in arreara, and shall continue the " labor of love " until wo have gone through our books. It is absolutely necessary that we have an immedíate response to every bill we eend out. Just now we are not getting in enough mouey to meet our regular expenses, and a íailure to aid us by prompt payment will be considerad as the expression of a wish that tlie Abous ceaso its weekly visitationa. We have enough due us to make us easy, if each oue will only pay the little due : but we are unwilling to keep running n debt or to exhaust the little (ttry littlt) we have accumulated by many ycars of constant toil. It remains with our subscribers and the business public to determine our future course. Prompt action in paying bilh due us, with more liberal advertisiug, both for the benefit of dealers and the Aeous prosperity or continuance even- unless reduced in size anri valur - is what is necessary.
