The New York Daily Bulletin, one of the most intelligent and carefully edited of commercial journals, publishes a review of the money markets of Europe and the United States, and contrasta the ruling low rates of interest in all parts of the continent and Great Britain at the present time with the high rates ruling last year. The conclusión arrived at by the Bulletin is that the provailing ease in all the money markets of the world must lead to a revival of business this fall of a healthy and substantial character, not perhaps of extraordinary activity, as that may be reservedfor 1875, )ut a vast improvenient on the trade of ast spring. This calculation coincides with the opinions of most of our bankers and tnerchants. The revival of busineBS n the fall is not a question of any reasonable doubt, as the associated banks of Jew York have a loaning capacity of 85,000,000 in excess of last year's ability, and this in itself would be a sufficient reason for predicting an extraordinary peculative movement in 1875, For some time past complaints have een freqiiently made of small gambling, hree cnrd monte and othor gamea on the railrosds leading into Jackson. The heriff and his depnties laid plans that resulted in ascortaining who composed he gang, when Morton Williams was arrested for gambling, it was considored :hat the leader of the gang was out of own, and the other members began to get scared. Two of them, named Turner and Canlis, came into town one evening ast week, and learning of tho turn affaire ïad taken decided to leave town the next morning, and did so. This same Turner and Canlis got an old farmer into their lutohes lately at the depot, but he sailed n and they left the game. That gang is now broken up as a unit, but there is another nnder surveillance that will reeive attention as soon as it lays itself open.
