A Democratie State Convention will be held at Union Hall, Kalamazoo, Michigan, Thursday, September lOth, 1874, at 12 o'clock m , for the purposo of nominating candidatos for State officers and for the transaction of such other business as may come before it. Each Couuty will elect four delégales for each Representativo to which, undor the Jast apportionment, it is entitleil in tho lower branrh of the State Legialaturo ; but evoiy organized county will bo ontitle to at least two delégales. In accordance with a resolution of a former State Convention, all counties, except tiloso of the Upper Península, uiust be represonted by resident delégate. It is hoped that County Committees, in calling their conventions, will extend a cordial invitaron to all opposed to the corruptions and misrule ot the party in power to particípate m the primary meetings held to elect delegates.
