A Democratie State Conveution will be held at Union Hall, Kalamazoo, Michigan, Thursday, September lOth, 1874, at 12 o'clock m., for the purpose of uomiuating candidates for State officers and Sor the transaction of sucli other business as may come before it. Each Couuty will elect fouf delegatei for eaofa Representative to which, uuder the last apportionment, it is eutitled in the lower branch of tho State Legislature ; but eveiy organizod county will be eutitle to at least tiro delégales. Ín accordance with a resolution of a former State Convoution, all counties, exeept those of the Upper Peninsula, must be reprusented by resident delegates. It is hoped that Couuty Committees, in callmg tlieir conventions, will extend a cordial invitation to all opposed to the corruptious and misrule of the party in power to participate in the primary meetings held to elect delegates.
