Walking On The Railroad Trucks
A voman was arrested in BuĂfalo a few days ago for walking on the track of the New York Central Kailroad. This is the flrst case brought, at least for a loug time, under the almost forgotten law of 1850, which provides that " it shall not be lawful for any person, other than those connected with or employed upon the railroad, except where the same shall be laid upon public roads or streets." The penalty is one of not more than $250, or one year's imprisonment. The Central Company propose to see that the law is enforoed, and a great many "accidenta" would be avoided if other companies would follow their example.
