Marriage In High Life
New York, Aug. 12. - Among the papers recorded at the Kegister's office yesterday was a settlement made by Leonard W. Jerome and wife in view of the oontemplated marriage of their daughter Jennie with Lord Eandolph Henry Spencer Churchill, son of the English Marquis of Blandford. Under this marriage settleinent Thos. M. Foote, of this city, and George Charles Spencer Churchill, Marquis of Blandford, are constituted trustees to receive and pay over an annuity of $10,000 in gold, and it is stipulated that in case Lady Churchill (Miss Jerome) should die before her husband, leaving no issue surviving her, that $125,000 in gold shall thereafter be paid to Lord Churchill ; and further provisiĆ³n is made for the payment of $250,000 in gold to their heirs, should both of them die leaving issue of their marriage. The Union League Club House is made security for this settlement.
