The Democratie Congreasional Convention for the Second Congressional District, consisting of the counties of Hilledale, Lenawee, Monroe and Washtenaw, will be held at the Court House, in the city of Hillsdale, on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBEE 16th, 1874, at two o'clock p. M., for the purpose of nomiuatiug a candidato for Representativo in Congress, and transact such other business as may be necessary. All who are opposed to the corruptiona and misrule of the party nów in power are iuvited to join in the convention.
