The Albion Recorder says : Our townsman, J. Anderson, has furnished ug some statistics in regard, to hia sheep and wool growing busiuess, which are quite interesting as well as valuable. Fr the last three years he has sheared from his flock 5,787 pounds of wool, froni an average of 349 sheep. The first year he sheared 2,235 pounds, at 50c per pound ; the eoond year 2,174 pounds, at 40c per pound, and the third year 2,378 pounds, at 44c per pound. The whole amountreceived for wool. during the past three years, is $3,033 42. We doubt whether there is another farmer in Calhouu Couuty that can beat the above figures. At the last meeting of the Coldwater Grange quite a lengthy discussion was held on the morita of the revised State constitution, at the close of which the question of woman suffrage - upon which nothing had been said - was referred to the ladies present For their opiniĆ³n. A vote was taken, resulting nearly unanimously against ;he sufirage measure. - Coldwater ReTuhlican.
