Little Rock, Sept. 7.- The enrolled copy of the tiew coustitution was to-day read at lungth in the convention and sigiicd by all the membera but seven Republicans. During the session the followincr resolutions were passed : Wlnniis, It is said and helievfid that the Constitntional Coiiveution of the State of Arkansas is composed of repiesentative men of the State, and Wteren, Thedesire isto give expression to the sentiment of the people of ovir State, and Wheieas,JA has been said and published that on account of turbulence, lawlesRness and animosity to loyal men of the Uüited States Government thoy could not live in security and peaco in Arkansas ; thereftfre (tdveil, That in the supremacy of tho law, and its fairhful and just adimnistration, alone are found all the safeguards of the sacred and inalienable rights of man and the hope of ' peace, prosperitv and the blefóngB of civil, political and religiousliberty; and that wo do and will forever discountenance and unqualifiedly condemn lawlessness, violence and outrage, wheresoever and whensoever found ; and that we demand, in the name of the State, equal protection, equal justice and equal rights to all, from the highesfc to the lowest, and without regard to race, color, or previous condition ; and we unqualifiedly and unreservedly pledge our selves to the same. liemlteil, That we' do most sincerely regret and condemn all brutal outrages committed in violation alike of law, humanity and peace of country in Gibson County, Teunessee. Resolved, That we earnestly and sincerely deprécate and deplore all collision between the white and colored people o) thia or any other State, and that we re gard those who cherish a disposition to produce conflict between the two races as enemieg to the peace, prosperity and good government of the State. Jietohed, That in the utmost good faith we earnestly and cordially invite good citizens from every part of our great country and elsewhere, who may feel disposed to come to our State and .cast their lot with us, and we guarantee to them protection in the enjoyment of all the rights of man in civilized life. The convention got through all business to-day. It will meet in the morning to hear the journals read, when an adjournment will be had until the 20th oí October, seven days after the election on the new constitntion. Should the constitution bo ratified it will stand adjourned sitie die.
