-Out in the town ot Harrison, Calumet county, WisOünsin, a wedding occurred but a few weeks ago, the particulars of whioh we have just been told. Previous to the happy event, arrangemeuts were made for a wedding tour of several days' duration. In due time tha cereinony waspeiformed, and bt a proper time the bride was con ducted to her ohamber. The happy husband soon followed, and having reaohed the door, rapped gently, but listened m vain for the anticipated weiome. He knocked again, more nervously than be fore, but Btill no answer was heard. He gently raised the latoh. The door was looked. He oalled to the little mischief within, but she auswered him not ; and he was finaliy couipelled to seek other (juarters. At an early hour in the morning, the carriage whioh had been engaged for the wedding tour was driven to the door, and our hero stole gently down stairs, entered the carriage, bade the dri ver apply the lash, and was soon out of sight. He did not return until after the lapse of ten days, during whioh time he visited every place oontemplated previous to his marriage. On his return he found his wife's bed-room open ! Yes. he did.
