The market opaned heavily, with an unusual depression in prices, cauaed by the big run, consequently it was late when the usual transactions aet in. Cattle had a poor representaron this week, being chiefly thin and light slaughtering cattle. Transactions took an active turn at a late hour of the market, many of which were forced sales, with poor margina to sellers. Hogs were firm, with no advance in prices. Consignments were slowly closed out, with nol much of a cheering outlook for the coming market. Sheep were perhaps the most brisk, sales being made early aud continuing to the close o: the market.
