In this city, March 24th, of brain fever, Clifford Jones, aged 20 years, 2 months, 18 days.

At Wood's Corners, Ionia County, Mich. on Sunday, the 14th irist., of pneumonĂa, after a brief illness, Mrs. Didamia Pope Pray, beloved wife of George Pray, M. D., in the 46th year of her age. Mrs. Pray was a gradĂșate of The Misses Clark's school, in the class of 1846, and well remembered by teachers and companions, with whom she was associated, as a lady of talent and appreciation- sprightly, amiable and agreeable. Her after-life was one raarked by acts of kindness and self-sacrifice for the good of others ; while from real love of books she kept up her own mental culture by reading and study; in the circle of her acquaintance she was the promoter of Iiterary clubs and other scholarly pursuits for the benefit and amusement of others. Here, where she lived for fome years, she will not be forgotten by those whom she aided among the poor and unfortunate, and her many personal friends will hear of her death with feelings of deep regret that her days have been cut short in the midst of their usefulness. Ann Arbor, March 19, 1875.
