A State Fikemen's Association.- We are in receipt oi a circular calling tor g couventiou of the firemen ot Michigan, to be held at Battle Creek on Tuesday, April 13th, at twoo'clock p. m., tor the purpose of organizing a State Firemen's Association. Each hand engine, steamer, hose, liook and ladder, and bucket compauy in the State is entitled to two delegates, with the chief engineer of each department as a delégate at large. ïhe Micliigan Central, Detroit & Milwaukee, Grand Rnpids & Indiana, Chicago & Michigan Lake Shore Bailroads, and their branches, have consented to a reduction of fare to all ilelegates ; and ït is believed that all other roads in the State will do likewise. Application, with credentials, must be made by delegates, ïminediately upon their appointment, to their local railroad agents for tickets, that the general railroad official may be notiñed frora what points to issue excursión tickets. The principal hotels at Battle Creek will entertain the delegates at oue-half the usual ratel. The local committee oi arrangeniBiits would like to hear trom delegates assoou as convenient.
