Wheee's the Horse ? - F. 'L. Axtell sold rederick S. Chapín a horse, for which he received $140. Upon that horse Axtell's father ïeld a chattel mortgage, aud he stipulated tliat on the payinent of the money by Chapín, the lorse should be released from the mortgage. t seeras that this was done before the money was actually paid over, and upon going to the bank to get the money a garuíshee was served n Chapm for a sum which the Axtells owed ue McLean, and honce Axtell failed to beome possesaed of the fUO. Shortly afterward the horse was missed from Chapin's stable, nd now the question is : Where's the horse 't Vo young men who were arrested on suspiion of having taken it, were dischargerl, and o clue to the equine quadruped doth y et apear.
