Societies are requested to observe tbe day, by holding all day prayer meetings and maas-meetlngs, and by doing such otber work as the .spirit muy prompt. SUBJECT OF PRAYER. The following themes are suggcsted, and an hour designated for each, that all nniy uiiite as olie in believing prayer: From 9 to 10 a. m. For the Chrlstlan women of the land; that they niay know and do their duty in relatiou to the liquor trame. From 10 to 11. For the pastors of the Churches ; that they may be clothed with spiritual power, and taught of God, as to the part they ought to take iu this work. From 11 to 12. For the children and young peoSeople of Ule land ; that they niay be kept from the ebasing inlluenee of strong drink. From 12 to 1 p. m. For Christian and other business men ; that they may dare to stand by the right. From 1 to 2. For our country, and all in official position. From 2 to 3. For manufacturera and dealers, men and women ; that God may open their eyes, and onable them to see that they are ruintng the souls and bodies of themselves and othfi-s. From 3 to 4.
