The Terre Haute Journal says tbat on Wednesdayweek Djr. Stevenson removed fïom the throat of Georgo Wilkins, in the southwestern part of Vigo county, Ind., a bean that liad been lodged in the trochen for six years. The patiënt is about 35 years of age. He was toying with a bean in his mouth, and swallowed or attempted to swallow it six years ago, and feit some slight obstraction at the time. Shortly aïterward and since that time he lias experieneeil all the symptoms of asthma, and hM made tise of the usual remedies for that eomplaint without any sucoess. Dr. Stevenson had soine time ago removed a bean from the trachea of a j cEild, and suspeeted that this was the oáse with Mr. Wilkins, espeeiall y as he had very fine lxmgs. He round the bean lodged in the tracheft, iiubedded in a lymph that had formed around it. It was a oommoii white soup bean, and it had been there ao long that when taken out it orumbled like soft chalk.
