It asserte that tliis ; ingrediënt of diet is an nnmistakable promotor of longevity, and that practical advocates of the system will live to be cighty or m'uety years old. It givcs a I still higher incentive to aliberal consumption of eggs, f oí' it advises their use ítr all those persons who are deficiënt in brains, as tho phosphorous forming a large constituent in the egg will stivugthen and devclop tho brain force. The same authority gives excellent advice as to the dinerent ways in which tliis desirable article of food may be made palatable, Hai'd boilod eggs and brown bread and blitter make excellent Band wiches ; eggs spread on toast muke an appetizing dish ; and poaehed eggs, or thoSé dropped from the slioll into hot water, (onn a delicate mortel for an Ln valid.
